Jacqueline Varlotta was born in Brooklyn, New York. She grew up in Massapequa, L.I., until moving to Farmingdale L.I., when she was fourteen years old.  She went to Farmingdale University where she studied Early childhood education - earning an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education.
She went to Molloy College where she majored in English and minored in Education - earning a Bachelor of Art degree in English. After teaching for several years, her love of writing made her decide to write full time instead, while working a job at night. This has produced four novels and a fifth one coming soon.

Jacqueline says:

"Writing can take you anywhere you want to go or let you be anything you want. There are no limits to the imagination in a story. I love to write and I am having so much fun! I get to share my stories with whomever may want to read them.  I have so many ideas for stories floating around in my head, but I can only work on one story at a time.  I also love to read other authors stories as well!  Life is funny, sometimes it can take you in a direction you least expect. I am now doing what I really love most in the world, and I get to share the stories with other people!"
